Women , who are the main target of the cosmetic companies, are significantly exposed to dangerous synthetic chemicals. Most of these chemicals are extracted from petroleum, which is foreign to the body and thus can't be dismantled, but accumulates instead and damages the human tissues. How many of the women that buy cosmetics actually check the label for the ingredients list or think twice about the chemicals that are used to make these cosmetics? Not many! There is a whole list of chemicals and ingredients that we need to be aware of, and to ensure that they are not present in the cosmetic products we buy.
